A bracket fungus with a wavy margin that is the cause of 'silver-leaf disease' that attacks fruit trees

Common on trees and shrubs in the rose family, and especially plum and cherry

The first evidence of the fungus is a silvering of the leaves, and when the wood is cut it appears stained brown
